Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Provide effective solutions to end users by navigating through ticketing tools and knowledge base articles.

  • Client Interaction: Use active listening and probing skills to understand client issues thoroughly. Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise instructions to resolve their problems.

  • Service Desk Management: Manage and track service requests, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation of all interactions. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with clients and colleagues.

  • Feedback and Learning: Be receptive to feedback from supervisors and peers. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and processes to improve service delivery.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to share knowledge and best practices. Contribute to a positive team environment by being a reliable and supportive colleague.

Technical Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following technical skills:

  • Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Ability to troubleshoot common issues and provide solutions.
  • Desktop and Laptop Support: Knowledge of hardware components, software installations, and system configurations.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Experience with MDM solutions for managing and securing mobile devices.
  • Office 365: Proficiency in Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Password Management: Experience in resetting and managing user passwords.
  • Printer and Peripheral Devices: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • COTS Applications: Familiarity with various commercial off-the-shelf applications.
  • Exchange Server: Basic understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server and email management.
  • VPN and VOIP: Knowledge of virtual private networks (VPN) and voice over IP (VOIP) technologies.
  • SharePoint: Basic knowledge of SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
