As a software engineer in our dynamic Warranty Services team, you'll embark on a journey that offers both professional growth and business acumen. This position provides an excellent learning environment, allowing you to master Java and delve into modern tech stacks like Springboot.

Selection Criteria:

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following skills and experiences:

• Proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with software delivery tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Junit, Gradle, Eclipse, and IntelliJ.
• Familiarity with the PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) environment.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture, a trending approach in modern software development.
• Experience working with SQL/PSQL and familiarity with Struts and Spring MVC frameworks.
• Exposure to WebSphere application server and Web Services Design/Development.
• Practical experience in creating User stories and familiarity with Agile software development methods.

Responsibilities:

• As a valued member of our team, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
• Harness your expertise in Java and Eclipse/IntelliJ for software development tasks.
• Utilize software delivery tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Cucumber, and Gradle to ensure seamless development, testing, and delivery of the Schedule Management capability.
• Embrace cloud-based computing technologies like PCF to deploy code and scale servers efficiently.
• Collaborate seamlessly within an Agile development environment, using Rally for effective iteration planning, retrospectives, and ceremonies.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing with team members to foster continuous growth and technical excellence.
• Contribute to the development of new features and implement change requests for our dealer-facing application.
• Drive Webservice development work using Java to enhance our service offerings.

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with a strong educational background to complement their technical prowess:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA).
