Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with work experience in the retail industry and a strong understanding of supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in analytical skills, advanced Excel, problem-solving, and forecasting.
  • Ability to manage and interpret data using statistical concepts.
  • Strong planning and operational abilities.
  • Effective and clear communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a good command of other MS Office tools.
  • Collaborative team player dedicated to creating a positive work environment.
  • Highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of SQL and VBA Macros is an added advantage.
Major Roles & Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Core execution: Producing accurate reports for the assigned business domain.
  • Collaborating with Planners and Buyers to effectively manage replenishment inventory through precise forecasting and addressing all relevant elements to achieve departmental in-stock targets.
  • Understanding and applying concepts like Stock-store Minimums/Presentation minimum, Maximums, Safety stock, Review Time, Lead time, Store-to-store transfers, and more.
  • Stock Balancing: Ensuring in-stock goals are maintained through efficient product distribution. Analyzing sales history and trends to maximize sales potential by devising allocation strategies that maintain appropriate store inventory levels.
  • Historical Analysis: Summarizing business performance of product categories by analyzing sales, inventory, margin, and other factors influencing in-stocks and profitability.
  • Operation: Taking end-to-end ownership of categories, including business and operational metrics for the team.
  • Execute Strategies: Implementing strategies to drive supply chain initiatives that support alternative forms of fulfillment.
  • Communication: Ensuring timely and proactive communication with key stakeholders.
