Key Responsibilities

• Coding and Testing: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring software quality through rigorous testing activities.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to provide feedback, identify areas for improvement, and maintain code quality.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot software defects, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, and actively pursue professional development opportunities.
• Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to team members and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing development processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages like PL/SQL, Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong grasp of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs, and issue tracking systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, or ORM frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Previous internship or co-op experience in software development is a plus.
