About the Role:

The magic at magicpin is powered by cutting-edge technology, developed by some of the smartest minds in the industry. We're tackling complex engineering problems in search & discovery, data science & analytics at a significant scale. Our tech stack includes microservices in Go, Java, and Python built on Kubernetes, leveraging relational/NoSQL databases, asynchronous communication, and public cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership: Deliver scalable solutions with near-zero defects.
• Code Quality: Produce high-quality code, unit test cases, and deployment scripts.
• Continuous Learning: Dive deep into new technologies, especially modern data storage and streaming systems like BigTable, Kafka, Solr, and Elastic.
• High Throughput Systems: Build systems with high throughput and low latency.
• CS Fundamentals: Develop a solid understanding of operating systems, databases, and data structures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to devise better solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Approach problems with a hacker's mindset, finding innovative solutions until resolved.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent degree with 1+ years of work experience.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to Java/Scala, Python, or C++.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Solid engineering principles and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• In-depth knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL, and application servers.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
