Job Description & Responsibilities:

As an Associate Software Engineer at CBTS, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and installing high-quality and innovative software solutions that adhere to coding standards and technical design principles. This role involves executing the full lifecycle of software development, from writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code to integrating software components into a fully functional software system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Full Lifecycle Software Development:
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to final deployment. This includes requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.

Produce Specifications and Determine Operational Feasibility:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, produce detailed specifications, and determine the operational feasibility of proposed solutions.

Integrate Software Components:

• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.

Document and Maintain Software Functionality:

• Create comprehensive documentation to maintain software functionality and assist with future software maintenance and upgrades.

Tailor and Deploy Software Tools, Processes, and Metrics:

• Customize and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics to enhance development efficiency and product quality.

Working Knowledge and Skills:

Designing Interactive Applications:

• Leverage your knowledge in designing interactive and user-friendly applications that meet user needs and provide an optimal user experience.

Relational Databases and SQL:

• Utilize your expertise in relational databases and SQL to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable database solutions.

Test-Driven Development:

• Apply test-driven development practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable software solutions.

Programming Languages:

• Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, .Net, and others to develop efficient and effective software applications.

Software Development Methodologies:

• Be familiar with various software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum, to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Communication Skills:

Excellent Verbal and Written Communication:

Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
