Essential Qualifications:

Role Purpose
As a Data Analyst at Vodafone, you will be responsible for implementing projects for the Finance Controlling and Planning department using tools like Jedox and Hyperion. You will manage the entire month-end close cycle in coordination with finance controllers, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting with minimal defects. You will also maintain and enhance hierarchical structures (metadata) and support finance planners throughout the business cycles of planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Controlling and Planning: Leverage your finance background to support the controlling and planning processes within the organization. You will work closely with the corporate FP&A team to manage budgeting and forecasting cycles.
EPM Implementation: Utilize your experience with EPM tools, particularly Jedox or Hyperion, to implement and maintain planning applications. Your role will involve end-to-end project management, including scheduling, communication, budgeting, and resource alignment.
Financial Reporting: Perform ad hoc and routine financial month-end close tasks, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Your techno-functional expertise will be crucial in the budgeting process, cost allocation, consolidation, and other financial processes.
System Solution Implementation: Translate business requirements into successful system solutions. You will gather requirements, design, develop, test, and implement these solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and expectations.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting assistance. You will define test conditions and scripts to ensure system stability, validity, and data integrity.
Business Insights Delivery: Develop business insights through interface design, report/dashboard creation, and business process improvements. You will ensure that deliverables are accurate, timely, and meet business specifications.
Team Development and Knowledge Sharing: Impart domain knowledge within the team and prepare the team for future challenges, including adopting new technologies. You will develop strong partner relationships through proactive communication and value addition.
