Job Responsibilities

As a Software / QA Engineer in our team, you will:

Develop and Enhance Wi-Fi Products: Contribute to the design and development of software for Wi-Fi Access Points. You will be involved in creating new features and improving existing ones to enhance performance and functionality.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other engineers, including test and validation teams, to design solutions and ensure they meet the highest standards. This collaboration is key to delivering a seamless and robust product experience.
Code Development and Troubleshooting: Write and modify code to implement new features, fix bugs, and optimize performance. Your work will include adapting software for new hardware and improving user interfaces.
System Integration and Testing: Partner with system test and integration engineers to validate software performance and reliability. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our products meet rigorous quality standards before reaching customers.
Customer Interaction and Support: Engage with customers to understand their networking infrastructure needs and provide tailored solutions. Your interpersonal skills will help in building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Innovate and Lead: As a key player in the team, you will be expected to take ownership of significant portions of the software, driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.

Key Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

Educational Background: A BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Additional qualifications or certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++/Python programming languages. Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities are essential.
Networking Knowledge: Experience with TCP/IP network layer protocols and a solid understanding of Linux and network resource management. Familiarity with packet forwarding and data path technologies is highly desirable.
Wireless Expertise: Knowledge of 802.11 protocols and Wi-Fi technologies. Experience in wireless systems, particularly with management stacks or cloud-based solutions, is a bonus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a team and engage with customers to understand their requirements is crucial.
