Responsibilities at Meesho Careers:

1. BAU Operations Management:

Oversee and maintain day-to-day operations, ensuring system performance is monitored, issues are promptly addressed, and high availability is maintained.

2. Cloud Migration Leadership:

Take the lead in executing cloud migration projects, seamlessly transferring applications and services between different cloud service providers.

3. Collaboration and POCs:

Collaborate closely with engineering teams, understanding their requirements, and providing proof-of-concepts for new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

4. Automation Scripting:

Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools, streamlining operational processes for increased efficiency.

5. CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, facilitating the smooth deployment of applications across various environments.

6. System Architecture Optimization:

Work with engineering teams to optimize system architecture for scalability and reliability, ensuring seamless operations.

7. Monitoring and Analysis:

Monitor and analyze system logs and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and taking proactive measures.

8. Industry Trends Awareness:

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.

9. Rotational On-Call Support:

Actively participate in rotational on-call duties, ensuring continuous operational support for the organization.

Qualifications for Success:

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and Perl/Bash.

DevOps Expertise:

• Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools like Jenkins, Git, and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly around infrastructure and systems.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for working effectively within cross-functional teams.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
