Required Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, with a strong academic record.

• Linux/Unix Expertise: Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and proficiency in scripting languages such as Make, Tcl, and Perl.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• System Modeling: Developing functionally accurate SystemC/TLM software models for CPUs (ARM and RISC-V architectures) and other hardware devices to compose Virtual Platforms.
• Verification and Testing: Verifying model functionality against behavior models or RTL using SystemC, UVM/SystemVerilog, and implementing unit testing and debugging strategies outlined in the test plan.
• Virtual Platform Development: Building Virtual Platforms for hardware designs at the system level, including loading and booting Linux/Mentor Embedded Linux (MEL)/Android on the Virtual Platform for simulation and software debugging.
• Documentation: Writing comprehensive Functional Specifications and Design Documents to communicate project requirements and design decisions effectively.
