Job Description

As a Junior Engineer, you will work closely with the Quality Engineering (QE) group to ensure the seamless performance of our Saba People Cloud product. This role offers comprehensive training in product functionality, test automation, and tools like TestLink. Under the guidance of an experienced QE lead, you’ll contribute to the product’s testing cycles, gaining hands-on experience and valuable technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the QE team to understand product features and testing requirements.
Participate in end-to-end testing cycles to ensure product quality.
Work on test automation and develop scripts using advanced testing tools.
Analyze test results and identify opportunities for improving testing efficiency.
Utilize tools like Selenium or Silk for front-end automation and TestLink for test case management.
Gain expertise in API testing and web services testing.

Skills Required

To excel in this role, you’ll need a combination of technical and problem-solving skills, including:

Web Development Knowledge
- Strong understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Programming Skills
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, with Java being highly preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting languages is a plus.
Automation Frameworks
- Knowledge of front-end automation frameworks like Selenium or Silk.
Web Services and API Testing
- Hands-on experience with automated API testing tools and methodologies.
Testing Tools
- Exposure to testing tools like TestLink is advantageous.
Other Skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.

Qualifications
