As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and developing user interfaces and backend solutions to enhance our engineering IT department.

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Associate Software Engineer at Micron Technology, you will:

• Create and Integrate Intuitive User Experiences: Design and develop user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and other modern frontend technologies to enhance our frontend applications.
• Build Performant and Secure Backend Applications: Architect and develop robust backend solutions using C# and web APIs while leveraging SQL and NoSQL databases for effective data management.
• Solve Business Needs: Develop and enhance solutions that address the specific business needs of our engineering IT department, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Enhance Existing Solutions: Continuously improve existing frontend and backend solutions that contribute to our overall business objectives.
• Refine Reference Architecture: Participate in refining our reference architecture framework to facilitate the development of scalable and user-friendly applications that evolve with the company's needs.
• Generate Proactive Monitoring and Usage Metrics: Establish system baselines and usage metrics to predict future demands and improve overall system performance.
• Monitor Website Performance: Observe website performance and detect traffic drops due to usability problems, proactively resolving issues to maintain high standards.
• Establish Feedback Loops: Build strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback and continuously improve user experience.
• Collaborate with Development Team: Understand and review software roadmaps, contributing to future website upgrades and enhancements.
• Implement Strategies for Service Continuity: Plan and execute strategies to minimize service outages and reduce their impact on business operations, including availability, contingency, and disaster planning.
• Collaborate with Peer Groups: Work closely with enterprise architects, security teams, network teams, and other peer groups to ensure software meets internal standards and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Up to two years of experience in web development.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2.x and/or ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS.
• Backend Development Skills: Knowledge or experience developing RESTful web services using NodeJS or C#.
• Object-Oriented Design Techniques: Strong object-oriented design techniques and reusable component design expertise.
• Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure, and cloud-native architecture.
• Database Knowledge: Understanding or experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• UI/UX Skills: Knowledge or experience in crafting and developing mobile-compatible web user interfaces.
• Software Shipping Cycles: Familiarity with software shipping cycles, including development, deployment, release, and continuous integration (CI).
• Web Coding Standards: Knowledge of web coding standards, security standards, and multi-browser compatibility.
