Role:

As a Junior Software Developer at Shaadi.com, you will collaborate with our Back-End and Data Science teams to develop feature sets for our website and mobile site. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless online matchmaking experience by building Restful Services and bridging the gap between Data Science models and microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features in collaboration with business and product owners.
• Review requirements and design specifications, proposing solutions and discussing them before implementation.
• Work with team leads to estimate project requirements and deliver projects on time in an agile environment.
• Write tests in a server-side test framework and optimize existing back-end services.
• Work with the QA team to resolve issues and report status to stakeholders using tools like JIRA.

Job Requirements:

What You Should Have:

• A solid understanding of core programming fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices using Node.js, Golang, or Python.
• Experience using Version Control systems like GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for driving best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot browser/platform compatibility issues and standards.
• Passion for code quality, extensibility, and simple architecture design.
