Job Description

As an Associate I – Data Analyst at UST Global, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting HR data to support business decisions. You will work closely with HR business partners and other functional teams to understand their data needs, create insightful reports and dashboards, and communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, clean, organize, and integrate data from multiple sources. Build reports and dashboards to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, outliers, and provide actionable insights.
Collaboration with HR Teams: Work closely with HR business partners and functional teams to understand their data requirements and deliver customized analytical solutions.
Data Reporting and Visualization: Utilize BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to create detailed and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
Data Storytelling: Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders in an engaging and understandable manner, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Optimization and Automation: Streamline and automate reporting processes for maximum efficiency.
Dashboard and Tool Improvement: Collaborate with the development team to enhance existing dashboards and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of internal customers.
Data Accuracy Validation: Perform thorough testing and work with the development team to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Industry Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analysis, reporting, and HR analytics.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or Human Resources Management.
Experience: Freshers with relevant coursework or internship experience in data analysis are encouraged to apply. Experience with HR Systems (e.g., Workday) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly valued.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and visualization. Experience with automated reporting tools is a plus.
