Job Overview

As a Software Engineer I, you will collaborate within an agile scrum team to develop and deliver innovative solutions in the payment industry. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) while adhering to best practices and maintaining a focus on quality and performance.

Role and Responsibilities

Software Development

• Perform analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions following team standards.
• Develop and maintain advanced applications, SDKs, and tools for the payment industry.
• Write unit tests and maintain high code coverage to ensure robust solutions.
• Identify opportunities for code reuse and contribute to the development of common code libraries.

Collaboration and Support

• Assist senior engineers in developing applications, interfaces, and software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Create test strategies, plans, and automated testing frameworks.
• Translate complex system requirements into comprehensive tests.
• Implement and maintain tools to support automated testing.

Documentation and Delivery

• Prepare and maintain documentation, including release notes, user guides, and software development guides.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality work, adhering to industry and team standards.

Team Contributions

• Actively participate in technical discussions and presentations.
• Exhibit a “can-do” attitude, proactively assisting team members to achieve collective success, even if it requires stepping outside standard responsibilities.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Skills:

  • Programming proficiency and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Android and/or iOS development is an advantage.
  • Exposure to digital payments and cryptography is a plus.
  • Experience with agile principles and practices is beneficial.
